Why use Hunter Fleet Management?
HFM is the Hunters only dedicated Fleet Management resource. It is owned and operated by local people with many years of fleet management experience. The remit of HFM is to serve the Hunter business Community, by bringing professional Fleet Management services that result in significant improvements in financial, operational and environmental outcomes for Hunter Companies.

Do we have to use all these services?
No! Every HFM client is different and their fleet requirements will differ also. Our objective is to provide the services and support that are actually needed by the client-from fleet management software only to fully outsourced management of all fleet related issues! Would we have access to our own fleet data? The HFM fleet software program is web based and every client has a unique log in to access their own data. Reports can be created from the software around a number of criteria, including:
- Fleet composition
- Services due
- Current fleet values
- Fuel cost reporting
- Maintenance costs reporting
- Vehicle transition alerts
- Purchase/replacement ordering
Can I access additional reports?
Apart from the reports available within the software HFM can provide 'custom' reports. Depending upon the services provided by HFM these may be part of the overall program or available at a small cost.
How much does fleet management cost?
Once we have collectively determined the services required HFM will invoice the client on a monthly basis. Depending upon the services the cost could vary between $25-$30 per month per vehicle.
Do we sign a contract?
For clients requiring 'outsourced' fleet management we have a standard 24 month contract. For those clients utilizing HFM fleet software only there is no contract.
Do you guarantee to save us money?
Most 'fully outsourced' clients would expect to see aggregated saving of 10-20% of their 'whole of life' fleet costs year on year. Most strategic management sits around:
- What - What make/model (where in model cycle, operational requirement?
- Why? - some biographical preference ('I only buy Holdens'- or the application of real time market intelligence?)
- How? - Finance to 4 years for cash flow-knowing you will turn over at 2 years-ever looked at exit penalties on most finance types?
